Our Author Day assembly was March 9, and we had fun! Thank you, Home and School, for a special treat. Some of our aspiring authors/illustrators even had the opportunity to meet with Ms. McClintock in a small group. We laughed, we learned, we were inspired. Barbara McClintock was a kid just like our Roberts Readers: she loved drawing, stories, cartoons, and cats, and she sometimes got into mischief and chose to do things her way rather than following the directions!
