School Counseling

Roberts Mascot
The Elementary School Counseling Program provides support and assistance within regular education to help meet a variety of student needs.  The School Counselor works hand-in-hand with the teachers, other support staff and parents to maximize each student"s success in the school.

Support Groups:  Students who need help coping with such issues as separation and divorce, self-esteem, socialization, organization and study skills are referred to support groups.

Individual Attention:  Students who may need extra support and attention can meet with the Counselor one to one.  The Counselor will provide a safe and caring environment to focus on individual issues.

Classroom Presentation:  Classroom lessons focus on character education issues, such as; social skills, conflict resolution, bullying and making friends.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Mrs. Mindy Hall at Roberts School, extension 16170.   If you would like to send an email: mhall@mtps.com.
